I have been absolutely gushing about the new Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able FULL DENTAL COVERAGE PLANS Foundation Concentrate on my Instagram. In fact, I’ve made so many articles I think it’s becoming annoying at this point. If you want full coverage in one layer, this is it! So I thought I’d go ahead and make a blog post all about it, combined with the concealer, so it’s all in a single post. Full info and reviews mixed in throughout the pictures below.
I actually chose the shade unintentionally. I meant to order the tone next to it, but I guess on the Sephora application my finger slipped and I chose the wrong shade. This color still works for me. The shade is described on the Sephora site as fair light with peach undertones.
The shade I originally wanted was Bisque Taupe 28, which is described as reasonable light with yellowish undertones. For something referred to as fair light, I do find it to still draw quite dark on me and yes I’m light complected, but I certainly have color if you ask me. I’m uncertain how dark these shades run, as I haven’t seen them personally. When you remove the dark lid you will see a silver lid, which pulls away and that’s your applicator. I find that this is the right part that gets very messy, and gathers product.
I’m assuming this happens when I shake it up before I use it (since you should be shaking all your liquid foundations before you utilize them), because I keep this on my beauty desk upright. I sometimes will need (a clean) finger and take away the product from across the rim and use that on my face. The applicator is NOT a dropper. The Cover FX Custom Cover Drops (which are amazing, incidentally) have a dropper applicator, and you utilize 1 to 5 drops of product to combine along with another product (like a base, tinted moisturizer, serum, etc.).
This Marc Jacobs base doesn’t have a dropper. It DOES appear to be a dropper, but it isn’t. And you also are to utilize this as any other liquid base. Sure, you could mix it in with other foundations if you wished to, but you won’t need to in order to utilize this. Even the instructions that are included with the foundation tell connect with face and buff along with a brush.
- Free of parabens and chemical preservatives
- A full mind of locks
- It really helps to relieve your skin in case there is suffering from minor sunburn
- StriVectin Overnight Facial Resurfacing Serum
I just needed to put that out there so there is absolutely no dilemma on the applicator. In conditions of how you apply it, I’ve done a couple of things: either straight apply the applicator to my face or I take the merchandise from the applicator with my fingertips and connect with my face that way. The best way to blend this has been a Beauty Blender out, since this base is so full dental coverage plans that you don’t have to rely on a clean to get the most coverage.
You can also apply this with your fingertips and get amazing coverage too, but it is found by me can get a bit streaky that way. Is the swatch of the tone I chosen Here. It works on my face somehow. I’m not sure how long I’ll get to utilize this shade before I need to switch it up, but also for now this is what I’m dealing with. You can find 22 shades to choose from currently, so there is a nice blend and that means you can hopefully find your match. If you can reach a Sephora (that carries Marc Jacobs) and swatch these, I recommend it highly. First of all, this is pricey.
55 and I used to be extremely hesitant to purchase this based on the purchase price. However, if a product truly works for me personally i quickly don’t mind spending the money whether it’s really something I need to have in my own makeup collection. This base is worth every cent and I’ll always make sure to budget therefore i can get an upgraded bottle.
Now that’s not to state that another base comes along and I love that one even more, but for right at this very second now, this is holy grail amazement. Also, keep this at heart, this isn’t a complete one fluid ounce like most foundations typically are. That is 0.75 ounces, so you’ll go through this faster – but maybe not just because a little goes quite a distance and you merely need one layer. I have normal to dry skin, so I use a moisturizer and then a hydrating primer before I apply this basis.
